Blindscape

Brewing a cup of tears and astonishment, Blindscape has made me speechless... A game with no graphics, whatsoever, has rendered me absolutely speechless and heartbroken! It truly is a work of art. In Blindscape, you play as a man, who can no longer see, trying to escape an authoritarian society and end his life. It has such a riveting and thought-provoking plotline. Be prepared to have your emotions tugged. I'm not crying... I just... ah, who am I kidding!! Aaahhh!!!

I'm ready to continue; I just had to wipe away my tears of joy and sadness. Carrying on... The game is an auditory puzzle. There is no interface nor graphics; just pure sound and narration. You must tap a pitch-black screen and find your way out with only the sounds of either the narrator or the surrounding environment to go on. It's not as hard as it sounds, though. You won't be worrying about that anyway. The plot'll keep you hooked. There is no way to save the game, however. So, make sure you have about 20 minutes to kill. Otherwise, you'll have to start right from the beginning. I learned this the hard way. I am absolutely impressed by how smooth the game went, but I wish it was a bit longer. The end is beautiful, but leaves you wanting more, which all cliffhangers do... I do hope that the game gets a sequel or some kind of continuation.
