 Shred some waves in the intense racing game, Riptide GP2! Riptide GP2 brings classic racing gameplay and an amazing futuristic environment with realistic physics to your mobile device. Control you very own Hydro Jet and prove your worth on the race track! As you fight for first place at the finish line, you must jump ramps and do tricks to increase your turbo boost; similar to other water racing games. You can then use your boost to speed past the competition. Every race is randomly paired with a techno track to accompany you and make your race come alive. You can either choose to use motion or touch to control the direction of your watercraft. Personally, I find it's more responsive using motion control, which I was highly disappointed because I usually prefer touch control. However, seeing that the tricks heavily rely on touch motions, I suppose it evens out. I was absolutely stunned by the graphics in the game. For a mobile game, you don't usually find graphics that rival that of a Nintendo DS. I feel that the stages seem a bit empty, though. I would like more interaction with the environment of the game. Why have detailed graphics and not have anything to do with the gameplay? I mean, it's nice to look at, but that's all it is. Am I asking too much for a mobile game? Probably, but it's been how many years? Why can't we finally get a game with the quality and complexity to that of a console game? But, I digress. The gameplay reminds me of a racing game played on the N64. Simple and to the point. A classic style you just can't go wrong with. The tricks are difficult to get used to, however. The game starts you off in Career mode. Through career mode, you can win races, earn stars to unlock new tracks, and earn money for upgrading and customizing your hydro jet to truly make it yours. You can also purchase new and improved hydro jets with your hard-earned digital currency. Although you have a Career mode, like all great racing games do, you also can test your skills against online competitors and show off your very own unique hydro jet!

This is one of the very few original games out there for mobile devices that I deem legit. White Island, a mystery puzzle game, created by VisualShower sure does stand out. But, before I continue, here's a short No-Spoilers summary of the story. It is a mystery game after all.
